Holy Communion at Amazing Grace
At Amazing Grace we believe passionately that
worshippers should not only have an opportunity to hear God’s Word but also be able to taste
it in the bread and wine. So the sacrament is offered at each service every week. We believe
that as we receive the bread and wine, we experience the real presence of Christ and are
granted forgiveness of our sins and new life.
Grape juice is always available as an alternative
to wine.
There are kids as young as five years old who
receive the bread and wine with us. Children who do not take the sacrament will receive a
blessing.
Contact Pastor Dave if you would like your
child to receive communion instruction.
9:00 am - 12:30 pm Coffee Fellowship
A big part of Amazing Grace hospitality is the
opportunity to enjoy a hot cup of coffee, a donut, and good conversation with friends on
Sunday morning. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home!
8:30 am Traditional Worship
New Traditions Service – This is a blended
service for those who appreciate both an upbeat musical style and the classic Christian
liturgical structure. This service features the
Now the Feast and Celebration
liturgy and organ music. Our choir also offers
special music regularly. If you come to this service, you will hear a lively sermon and
be offered the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Professional nursery care is also provided at
this service for your convenience.
11:00 am Contemporary Worship
Sunday in the Spirit – This is a contemporary,
non-liturgical service designed to appeal to 18-40 year olds, as well as anyone else who
likes an upbeat, musically-driven service. Our praise band leads the music and we make
extensive use of our media screens. There is always a lively sermon and Holy Communion at
each service. This service has been specifically designed to run concurrently with Sunday
School. Professional nursery care is provided for children age five and under.
9:45 am Sunday School
(September through May)
Christian Education is offered for ages 3-12.
Children learn the stories of God’s love, sing songs, and make crafts in a loving environment.
